After this Masters 1000 tournament, the season winds down with two ATP 250 events in Belgrade and Metz, followed by the prestigious Nitto ATP Finals in Turin for the top eight players.
As the third major tennis event in Paris this year, the Paris Masters follows the French Open (held in May-June) and the Olympic Games (July-August), both of which took place on the outdoor clay courts of Roland Garros. This Masters 1000 tournament, however, shifts to the indoor hard courts of Bercy Arena, which also hosted gymnastics, basketball, and trampoline events during the Paris Olympics.
