Fear of God‘s recent Fall/Winter 2024 collection continues to exemplify the brand’s vision of American luxury, an ideology carefully cultivated by Jerry Lorenzo over the years. In “American Symphony,” Lorenzo explores the sartorial legacy of Native American formal attire from the 1930s, as depicted in “Killers of the Flower Moon.” This historical reference interweaves with the extravagant styles of 1970s Harlem, inspired by “American Gangster.”

Moreover, the rugged yet elegant influences of 1970s Westerns, especially “Tombstone,” and the futuristic aesthetics of cowboy androids from “Westworld” offer a compelling narrative of American fashion through the decades.

Luxury materials

The fabrics used in the collection are extraordinary, featuring a variety of textures and materials that define American luxury. Japanese denim and wool silk for suits form the foundation of this collection, while stone-washed leather and fleece add layers of depth and warmth.

Sheepskin, piqué meshes, and cotton loop provide contrasting textures that elevate the collection’s architectural yet relaxed silhouettes. The meticulous selection and combination of these materials demonstrate Fear of God’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship, setting a new standard in contemporary luxury fashion.
