BLACKPINK’s LISA is Louis Vuitton’s new House Ambassador

LISA joins a select list of Louis Vuitton female ambassadors, including Zendaya, Emma Stone, Sophie Turner and Ana de Armas.

It is confirmed what was an open secret: LISA, a member of the South Korean girl group BLACKPINK, has been officially named ambassador for the Louis Vuitton brand.

Speculation about her link with the French luxury house began with her attendance at the brand’s fall-winter 2024 fashion show last March.

While her presence was not unexpected due to her relationship with Frédéric Arnault, recently appointed CEO of LVMH Watches, a formal alliance is now consolidated.

LISA has a long history with the LVMH conglomerate. In 2020, she was a Celine brand ambassador, even walking for its summer 2022 collection in Nice, France.

With this appointment, the Thai superstar solidifies her career as a soloist, following in the footsteps of her BLACKPINK bandmates: Jennie with Chanel, Jisoo with Dior and Rosé with Saint Laurent.

All the members of the group are currently focused on their individual projects. LISA even established her own management company, Lloud Co.

She recently debuted her new single “Rockstar”, which reached number 4 on the Billboard Global 200 chart, becoming her third Top 10 hit, after “Lalisa” and “Money” in 2021.

In addition, she is scheduled to appear in the third season of the HBO series “The White Lotus”, set in her native Thailand.

Regarding her new role as ambassador, LISA said: “Nicolas Ghesquière’s identity is strongly reflected in the designs he creates, and that’s what makes Louis Vuitton pieces so special. I’m excited to see how his ideas come to life.”

For his part, creative director Nicolas Ghesquière commented on the addition of LISA: “I am very excited to welcome Lisa as a House Ambassador. She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly captivating. She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey.”

LISA joins a select group of Louis Vuitton female ambassadors, including Zendaya, Emma Stone, Sophie Turner, Ho-Yeon, Ana de Armas, Deepika Padukone, and more.

She also shares the title with other K-Pop representatives: J-Hope from BTS, Felix from Stray Kids and Hyein from NewJeans.
