Audi presents a new generation of its popular A5 line, marking a significant evolution in the mid-size segment.

The S5 Avant stands out as the flagship of the A5 family. It features a robust 3L V6 TFSI engine with 367 horsepower, powered by the new MHEV plus technology.

This mild hybrid system not only improves performance, but also ensures greater fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions.

The S5 Avant’s sporty design is characterized by a dynamic roofline and a perfectly integrated roof spoiler, offering both aesthetic appeal and aerodynamic efficiency.

Audi CEO Gernot Döllner emphasized the combination of sportiness and technological advancement in the new models: “The new A5 shines with its sporty design, its new interior and its modern electronic architecture. It also marks the launch of our new generation of efficient combustion engines.”

The four variants of the new A5 are built on Audi’s Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) platform, which features a clean and defined design.

The A5 and S5 Sedans feature a long wheelbase and a low, sporty body, while the Avant models combine an extended roofline with a spacious and functional rear end.

Inside, the new A5 models feature a redesigned cabin focused on user interaction.

The digital scene is dominated by the panoramic Audi MMI screen, which includes an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit and a 14.5-inch touchscreen.

Optional features also include a 10.9-inch front passenger display and a configurable head-up display.

The new Audi A5 family will be available to order mainly in Germany, with a wider market launch planned for November.

Starting prices for the new range of models will start at €45,200, approximately $50,000.
