Invited to collaborate are prominent figures from various fields: Hirofumi Kiyonaga, former creative director of the SOPH. brand, known for his love of gold; Ichiro Yamaguchi, frontman of the independent rock band Sakanaction, a furniture enthusiast; Kashiyuka, member of the female techno-pop group Perfume; and dentist and model Junko Katoh.

True to his fascination with gold, Kiyonaga has designed the Putter Rack, an elegant and compact stand for golf clubs. Crafted from molded plywood, the rack features Tendo Mokko’s signature curves, combined with green padding that ensures the perfect angle for storing clubs.

Yamaguchi, a furniture aficionado, has created the YI stool, available in white canvas and black leather. Made from solid teak wood, it exudes a mid-century modern appeal.

With her feline companion in mind, Kashiyuka has designed the Rattan Side Table, the perfect piece for her cat to rest on. Its partially enclosed cylindrical form with woven rattan walls radiates an open design that allows light to pass through.

Finally, Junko Katoh presents the Seat Chair, a plush creation that encapsulates her minimalist yet inviting aesthetic. Available in three different heights, the frame is made from ebony wood, while the backrest and seat are upholstered in white boucle fabric.

Starting July 24th, the aforementioned pieces will be available for pre-order through the Isetan Mitsukoshi website. The general sale will take place from August 8th to 18th. The exhibition can be visited from August 7th to 13th on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku.
