Continuing this trend, Rabanne announced Troye Sivan as its new Global Makeup Ambassador, just a year after launching its innovative beauty collection.
Troye Sivan, Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and actor, has established himself as a global icon in music, fashion, and LGBTQIA+ representation. Besides his prominent roles in various Hollywood films, Troye has collaborated with major high-fashion brands and walked runways worldwide.
With a combined social media audience of 39 million, Troye maintains a close and loyal connection with his followers globally.
This collaboration adds to Troye’s history with Rabanne. The artist wore the brand’s outfits in his iconic “Rush” video and showcased their designs and makeup at Rabanne’s SS24 show.
Hailing from Perth, Australia, Troye’s rise to stardom began with a couple of EPs: TRXYE in 2014 and Wild a year later.
Since then, he has released his debut album Blue Neighbourhood, his second album Bloom, the 2020 EP In A Dream, and more recently, his third studio album Something To Give Each Other. Thanks to his career, he has been acclaimed by TIME magazine as “the perfect pop star” and received two Grammy nominations.
He has also won six ARIA Awards, a Billboard Music Award, three MTV Europe Music Awards, and two GLAAD Media Awards. His collaboration “Revelation” with Jónsi for the film “Boy Erased” was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song and shortlisted for an Oscar.
Troye recently completed the European leg of his Something To Give Each Other tour, which will continue worldwide in the coming months. This fall, he will join Charli XCX on their co-headlining Sweat tour across the United States.
Troye will debut as Rabanne’s global makeup ambassador in a new campaign for NUDES, a next-generation beauty collection inspired by the brand’s iconic fabrics.
