The neon lights of Sin City are about to shine even brighter, and not just because of its casinos and extravagant shows. Cote, the acclaimed steakhouse that has captivated the most discerning palates with its exquisite Korean barbecue and vibrant atmosphere, is preparing to debut in Las Vegas early next year, marking its first foray into the West Coast.

For Simon Kim, the visionary behind Cote and Gracious Hospitality Management, this opening is not just a strategic expansion, but a homecoming. “I took my first steps in the hospitality world in Las Vegas,” Kim confesses with emotion. “Cote Korean Steakhouse was born in New York, but the vibrant energy, music, and entertainment that characterize this city have always been present in our DNA. With this new location, we are going to take the Cote experience to the next level.”

The new Cote, which will be located in the heart of the Venetian Resort, will not be a mere replica of its predecessors in New York, Miami, and Singapore. While it will retain the distinctive elements that have made the brand a resounding success, such as smokeless table grills, a meat aging chamber, and theatrical lighting, it will also incorporate a unique touch that reflects the essence of Las Vegas.

Luxury design

The restaurant’s design, by renowned architect David Rockwell and his Rockwell Group, will be a harmonious fusion of Cote’s elegant and sophisticated style with the electrifying energy of Sin City. A tiered, theater-style circular dining room, a central bar surrounded by private booths with privileged views, and a DJ booth to keep the atmosphere lively throughout the night are just a few of the elements that will make Cote Vegas a culinary and visual spectacle.

As for the menu, meat lovers will be able to indulge in the favorite dishes that have made Cote a benchmark in the world of steakhouses. The Butcher’s Feast, a selection of prime cuts of meat cooked to perfection, the “Steak & Eggs,” a reinvented classic with a Korean touch, and an extensive wine list with over 1,200 labels, are just a few of the temptations that await diners at Cote Vegas.

Well-Deserved recognition

Since its opening in 2017, Cote has garnered numerous accolades, including the coveted Michelin star, a testament to the culinary excellence it offers. And since the pandemic, the brand’s expansion has only grown, with the opening of new locations in Miami and Singapore, and the resounding success of Coqodaq, another of Gracious Hospitality Management’s restaurants in New York.

Meat lovers on the West Coast, who until now have had to travel long distances to enjoy Cote’s delicacies, can finally breathe easy. Kim has decided to bring his successful concept to his side of the country, and the wait will undoubtedly be worth it. Cote Vegas promises to be a unique experience that will merge culinary excellence with the vibrant and electrifying spirit of Las Vegas, becoming a new must-visit destination for lovers of fine dining and entertainment.
