However, the lack of diversity on the runway, particularly in terms of body type and age, didn’t go unnoticed.
The irony wasn’t lost on anyone, considering the front row boasted a stunning array of powerful women across generations – Jennifer Lopez at 54, Rosamund Pike at 45, Venus Williams still a force at 44, and music stars Yseult, Jisoo, and Doja Cat, all beacons of individuality.
Perhaps, then, it was this very discrepancy that made Chiuri’s final bow so inspiring. There she stood, 60 years young, in a cool black suit and white sneakers, adorned with a cascade of gold necklaces – a picture of effortless confidence and accomplishment.
