Louis Vuitton deepens its connection with South Korea’s thriving fashion scene by naming acclaimed actor Gong Yoo as its latest House Ambassador.

Gong Yoo, recognized for his captivating performances in “Squid Game” and “Train to Busan” brings a wealth of experience and artistic merit to the table.

He’s no stranger to the Louis Vuitton brand, having previously collaborated on the LV Tambour Horizon watch campaign in 2017 and attending the Seoul boutique opening in 2019.

His recent attendance at the Paris Men’s Show designed by Pharrell Williams further solidified their connection.

Gong Yoo’s philanthropic endeavors align with Louis Vuitton’s vision of a better future. His role as a UNICEF representative in South Korea and his openness about mental health issues showcase his dedication to social good.

Furthermore, his starring role in “Silenced,” a film that brought crucial attention to social issues, highlights his commitment to positive change.

This strategic partnership strengthens Louis Vuitton’s position within the South Korean luxury market. The brand’s monumental pre-fall show in Seoul last year, held in collaboration with “Squid Game” director Hwang Dong-hyuk, exemplifies their dedication to the region.

With Gong Yoo joining the ranks of South Korean ambassadors like J-Hope from BTS, Le Sserafim, and Felix from Stray Kids, Louis Vuitton solidifies its commitment to celebrating Korean talent and fostering a global fashion dialogue.
