Zucca will soon bid farewell to its historic home at the Hotel St. Michel and set roots in a vibrant new location – Regency Parc.

This move, targeted for completion in 2026, promises a more expansive and elevated dining experience for guests, while strengthening Zucca’s connection to the Coral Gables community.

Since its 2017 debut, Zucca has captivated diners with its authentic Italian cuisine, award-winning wine cellar boasting over 2,000 bottles, and its signature warm hospitality.

At the helm of the kitchen is Chef de Cuisine Manuel Garcia, whose experience in Michelin-starred European restaurants is evident in every dish. Signature offerings like veal parmesan and stuffed zucchini flowers have become favorites among loyal patrons, both local and from afar.

A new chapter

Zucca’s new address will be at Regency Parc, a luxury residential tower currently under construction. Here, the restaurant will occupy a sprawling 6,400 square feet on the ground floor, featuring a charming covered alfresco dining area – perfect for enjoying a meal amidst the fresh Coral Gables air.

This move reflects a growing trend: developers incorporating high-end dining as exclusive amenities for residents.  It echoes the expansion of restaurants at Coral Gables’ Loews Hotel, which has become a vibrant culinary hub.

Erasmo da Silva, owner of Zucca and Da Silva Hospitality Group, radiates excitement about the move.  “This is a progressive step towards an even brighter future for Zucca,” he proclaims.  “Regency Parc allows us to create a larger space, complete with an open kitchen. Guests can witness the culinary artistry firsthand, appreciating the quality ingredients and masterful techniques employed by Chef Garcia.”

Culinary evolution

But the benefits extend beyond an open kitchen. The new location offers more space for private events and celebrations, while exciting new initiatives are planned. “We’ll be introducing a Chef’s Table experience, offering interactive sessions with the chef,” da Silva reveals. “Additionally, we’ll be establishing a catering service department to cater to a currently unmet need in the community.”

Zucca’s commitment to the community extends further. A unique service elevator will connect the restaurant to the resort deck, allowing residents to have food delivered directly to their loungers or cabanas.  Zucca will also cater events at the building’s social pavilion and provide room service-style deliveries to residents’ apartments.
