Stepping into the KEF Music Gallery, situated just off Oxford Street, is like entering a temple dedicated to the art of sound. This 5,000-square-foot space, spread across two floors, isn’t your typical sterile showroom – it’s a playground for audiophiles, music lovers, and creative minds alike.

The architects, Conran and Partners, have masterfully struck a balance between “industrial yet refined.” Exposed stainless steel and concrete elements provide a cool, modern foundation, while light and dark oaks throughout add warmth and texture. This thoughtful design creates a canvas for the true stars of the show – the sound systems.

KEF Music Gallery is a symphony of dedicated zones, each catering to a specific way of experiencing sound. The Gallery, located on the ground floor, is the heart of the space. Here, you’ll find the aptly named KEFé, London’s ultimate high-fidelity cafe. Sip on a drink and lose yourself in a meticulously curated soundtrack.

Nestled next to The Gallery is The Studio, a hidden gem for audio creation. This fully-fledged recording studio boasts state-of-the-art acoustics, making it perfect for podcasting, music recording, or even private listening sessions. Whether you’re a seasoned audio engineer or just starting out, The Studio offers a unique opportunity to create in a professional setting, right in the heart of London.

Beyond these central areas, three distinct immersion rooms beckon exploration. The Hub, a collaborative workspace, welcomes guests and workshops alike. The centerpiece of this room is a stunning four-meter-long table crafted from a single piece of Kentish oak, designed by British fine furniture maker Sebastian Cox. This dedication to detail is evident throughout the entire space.
