Sha’Carri Richardson Partners with Olay Before the 2024 Paris Olympics

In an interview with Bazaar, Richardson expressed her excitement about this new role, highlighting the importance of self-care. 

“It feels like a new journey in discovering a different part of myself,” she said. “Self-care is very important, especially as a woman, particularly for african american women. The partnership with Olay supports this,” said.

Richardson’s striking beauty and style have garnered widespread admiration, drawing comparisons to the legendary Olympic gold medalist Florence “Flo-Jo” Griffith Joyner. 

“She is the greatest to ever do it,” Richardson said of the icon, whose world record for the women’s 100-meter dash still stands. “Flo-Jo inspires my journey as a competitor and a woman in expression.“

When it comes to her beauty looks for the Olympics, Richardson prefers spontaneity. “I don’t plan out my looks. I’m an emotional, spontaneous reactor,” she shared. 

“If I see it and feel it in the moment, I go with it.” However, her signature elements usually include her nails, eye-enhancing makeup, and lip gloss, which boost her confidence.
