Uchi Miami unveils Summer Dinner Series: A culinary extravaganza

Uchi, which means “home” in Japanese, opened the Wynwood location in 2021. It offers a vibrant tapestry of textures and flavors inspired by Miami’s dynamic culture and energy.

Uchi Miami, the iconic Wynwood restaurant renowned for its innovative interpretation of Japanese cuisine, is set to tantalize taste buds this summer with its highly anticipated 2024 Summer Dinner Series. 

 

This exclusive event presents intimate, ticketed dinners where culinary talents from Miami’s vibrant scene collaborate to create exquisite multi-course menus, seamlessly blending Eastern and Western flavors.

 

The series kicked off on Tuesday, May 21st, with guest chef Chris Arellanes, Executive Chef of KYU Miami.

Diners were treated to a culinary symphony of Masu Crudo (Tasmanian ocean trout), gold-dusted chicken with foie gras and verjus, and wagyu with white asparagus and oishii (creamy sake).

 

The second installment of the Summer Dinner Series will take place on Tuesday, June 11th, featuring Chef Allan Esterhuizen, Executive Chef of LPM Miami. 

 

This culinary adventure will showcase a Mediterranean-inspired medley of escargot, lamb ribs, and crème brûlée, harmoniously intertwined with Uchi’s signature Eastern dishes.

Reservations Required: A Culinary Experience Awaits

Reservations are essential and can be made through SevenRooms. Tickets are priced at $195 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Uchi: A Culinary Haven in the Heart of Wynwood

Uchi, meaning “home” in Japanese, is the flagship restaurant of Hai Hospitality, renowned for Chef Tyson Cole’s innovative Japanese cuisine. 

 

Opened in Austin, Texas, in 2003, Uchi seamlessly blends elevated cuisine with impeccable service in an inviting ambiance. 

 

The Wynwood location, established in 2021, offers a vibrant tapestry of textures and flavors inspired by Miami’s dynamic culture and energy. 

 

The menu features an array of hot and cold composed bites, sushi and sashimi, makimono, yakimono, tempura, and an omakase that showcases seasonal ingredients. Dine-in, takeout, and private dining options are available.
