Miami’s sizzling restaurant scene is serving up a bounty of new options for summer, each catering to diverse palates and preferences. 

Catch Miami Beach

Catch, the renowned seafood haven favored by celebrities sets sail for Miami Beach again on May 10th. This latest addition to their national empire joins existing locations in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Aspen.

 

Diners can expect a menu showcasing Catch’s signature dishes, including the iconic Catch roll, decadent truffle sashimi, and melt-in-your-mouth mushroom spaghetti.

Indulge in luxurious Cantonese lobster or witness the theatrics of the Wagyu Hot Rock, where A5 Kobe beef is seared tableside. Fresh seafood enthusiasts will delight in the extensive selection of nigiri, sashimi, and chilled options like crudos and ceviches, featuring fish flown directly from Japan’s Toyosu Market.

KYU Miami Wynwood

Step into the new KYU Miami Wynwood, where a warm new palette complements the familiar sleek and industrial vibe. Signature elements like the welcoming garden wall remain, while the space is further enhanced with touches of tambour wood, dark leather, and gold accents.

Executive Chef Chris Arellanes curates a menu with shareable plates, hearty main courses, and plant-based options. Returning favorites like the iconic sesame-crusted beef short rib with sweet soy and the finger-licking Korean fried chicken with chili butter and braised spinach are sure to please.

 

The beverage program doesn’t disappoint either, featuring classic cocktails like the She-So Spicy, a fiery shiso sour, alongside innovative new creations and seasonal exclusives.

Sereia Coconut Grove

Opened in March, Sereia in Coconut Grove brings a taste of the Iberian coast to Miami. Inspired by Chef José Mendonça Sá Pessoa’s travels, the restaurant presents modern takes on classic seafood dishes.

The menu highlights Portuguese specialties like Cataplana, a traditional fish stew bursting with flavor. Indulge in the luxurious Vieiras Marinadas, featuring marinated scallops adorned with Sereia royal caviar, or savor the Bacalau a Brás, a classic dish by Chef Sá Pessoa that combines salted cod with crispy fried string potatoes.

 

Bishop Design masterfully captures the essence of the ocean and the Iberian landscape in the restaurant’s interior. Cream-toned surfaces, natural wood accents, and curved furniture create a calming atmosphere, further enhanced with textured details and deep blue and green fabrics.

Salty Flame Brickell

Step into Salty Flame Brickell and embark on a culinary adventure through Asia. This vibrant restaurant offers an eclectic array of Asian-inspired dishes perfect for sharing. Skilled bartenders craft unique cocktails, while a resident DJ sets the mood with pulsating tunes.

The menu features a delightful selection of Asian bistro staples, including rolls, sashimi, rice dishes, noodles, and a dedicated steak bar. Premium meat options take center stage, all designed for sharing. From dry-aged cuts to classic steaks like filet mignon and rib eye to the decadent Japanese A-5 Wagyu strip loin, all meats are thinly sliced for an unparalleled dining experience.
