Graspa Group, the hospitality company renowned for its Italian-inspired restaurants throughout Florida, debuted Casalina on October 25 in Delray Beach.
Casalina represents Graspa Group’s first location in Palm Beach County and promises to combine authentic Italian tradition with contemporary touches influenced by American dining styles.
Located at 16950 Jog Road, the 6,000-square-foot space is designed to transport guests to Italy’s Mediterranean coast. Its inviting yet stylish dining room features cascading greenery from the ceiling, crisp white tablecloths, and comfortable banquettes that can accommodate up to 74 diners.
Casalina’s Italian aesthetic extends to the spacious 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio, highlighted by a large lemon tree, echoing the atmosphere of Capri. With space for 140 guests, this covered patio allows for outdoor dining all year, regardless of weather.
Chef and co-owner Angelo Masarin expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We’re thrilled to introduce Casalina to the vibrant Delray Beach community. After years of success in the Miami area, we wanted to create a presence in Palm Beach County that would reflect our Italian roots in a way that feels authentic and harmonious with the local atmosphere. Casalina represents a union of Italian traditions, flavors, and subtle American influences to make every guest feel at home.”
Casalina’s menu offers an array of handcrafted pasta, wood-fired pizzas, risottos, fresh seafood, and premium meats. Led by Masarin and Chef Mattia Teagano, each dish is prepared with locally sourced ingredients and specialty items from Italy. The rotating “That’s Amore” menu features weekly seasonal specials.
Guests can start with vibrant appetizers like the Spanish Octopus Carpaccio, garnished with fennel, red oranges, cumin seeds, and a light citronette drizzle; Vongole Oreganata, a clam dish prepared with oreganata breadcrumbs, lemon sauce, and parsley; and Smoked Duck Breast, sliced and served with arugula, Parmesan cheese, and berry reduction.
Diners can watch as chefs prepare wood-fired pizzas, including options like the Eggplant and Bufala, topped with eggplant, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, and buffalo mozzarella; the Silvia, featuring Prosciutto di Parma, grape tomatoes, and shaved Parmesan; and the Wild Mushroom pizza with a mix of mushrooms, tomato, and mozzarella.
The menu also boasts house-made pasta and a selection of risottos. Pasta lovers can indulge in choices like Pappardelle Lamb Ragu, a lamb dish simmered in tomato sauce, red wine, and herbs.
The risottos include a standout, the Risotto Milanese Revisit with baby shrimp, saffron, and peas. Entrée options include seafood, like Snapper Alla Livornese with lemon and capers, and prime cuts such as Veal Parmigiana or Milanese, lightly breaded veal with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and linguini.
Casalina also offers an extensive wine list, with bottles from Italian vineyards and popular American varietals, including cabs and chardonnays. Every Monday, guests can enjoy “Baci & Abbracci,” featuring a 50% discount on all wine bottles. Daily happy hour runs from 4-6 p.m.
Casalina Italian Restaurant, located at 16950 Jog Road, Delray Beach, FL 33446, serve dinner from 4-9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 4-10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
