“A través de mis diseños busco crear mi propio lenguaje, con mis piezas muestro una identidad. Mi estética está muy influenciada por el diseño gráfico, por los colores, los ritmos y las texturas de la cultura venezolana.”
“I seek to create my own language through my designs, I use my pieces to communicate an identity. My aesthetics is heavily influenced by graphic design, colors, rhythms, and textures of the Venezuelan culture.”

“Desde el principio trabaje con artesanos, desde mi primera cartera. Ellos fueron mis primeros maestros, con ellos aprendí todo lo que sé de producción, de cómo hacer las cosas. Con ellos entendí los materiales.”
“Since the beginning, I worked with designers, ever since my first purse. They were my first teachers; they taught me everything I know about production, about how to do things. With them I learned about materials.”

“Trabaje durante 10 años con cuero, haciendo los accesorios, luego cuando comienzo a trabajar diseñando muebles hice proyectos junto a Casa Curuba combinando el trabajo en cuero con las maderas del estado Lara; luego hice proyectos junto a Maximaduda con distintos materiales, entre esos el moriche. He trabajado con expertos en herrería, expertos en tejido de mimbre y ratán.”
“I worked with leather for 10 years, making accessories. Later, when I began to design furniture, I did some projects with Casa Curuba, combining leather craftsmanship with the wood from the state of Lara; then I worked alongside Maximaduda, working with different materials, including moriche. I have worked with expert blacksmiths, wicker and rattan weaving.”
