Rather than dazzling with exaggerated promises or futuristic gimmicks, Dacora Motors
introduced its first creation—the enigmatic Model 001.

With no official name yet, the unveiling spoke volumes through presence alone, earning comparisons to a modern Rolls-Royce.

Leading this new chapter in automotive history is Kristie D’Ambrosio-Correll, a graduate of MIT and an engineer by trade.

She has been recognized as the first woman to found and lead a global car manufacturer.

Her story began in her father’s Hudson Valley garage, where she absorbed a lifelong passion for American engineering.

Together with her husband, Eric, whose family tradition lies in restoring classic vehicles, she established Dacora Motors.

Their shared goal is clear: elevate American automotive craftsmanship to the highest echelon of global luxury.

Building Roots in Hudson Valley

Dacora’s vehicles will not be produced in faceless factories, but in a purpose-built facility in Hudson Valley.

The site will serve as more than a factory—it will also house an exclusive club for owners and enthusiasts.

Here, the production of each Dacora car becomes part of a lifestyle, not merely a transaction.

Mystery Over Hype

Unlike many electric newcomers, Dacora Motors launched with restraint and quiet elegance.

The Model 001 avoids flashy LED displays, panoramic rooftops, and exaggerated futuristic designs.

Instead, the brand favors authenticity, honest craftsmanship, and timeless beauty, echoing the golden era of automotive artistry.

An American Rolls-Royce?

Much has been made of the resemblance between the Model 001 and Britain’s iconic Rolls-Royce.

But this Dacora car offers more than imitation—it blends handcrafted tradition with cutting-edge technology.

The involvement of Italian design powerhouse Pininfarina underscores its dedication to world-class aesthetics and precision engineering.

Wooden details, such as a hand-sculpted walnut hood, transform the vehicle into a moving sculpture.

Power and Performance, Cloaked in Mystery

Dacora has revealed only glimpses of the Model 001’s technical capabilities. What is known: more than 800 horsepower, an 800-volt battery, and an impressive 644-kilometer range.

Performance is assured, but the emphasis remains on artistry and exclusivity rather than statistics alone.

Inside the Experience

Personalization defines the Model 001’s interior philosophy. From responsibly sourced leathers to natural materials like linen and wool, every surface can be tailored.

Buyers may request consoles equipped with rare luxuries—a coffee machine, a record player, a miniature bonsai beneath glass.

This approach places Dacora firmly in the realm of responsible luxury, where comfort and individuality coexist seamlessly.
