Born between 1997 and 2012, this forward-thinking generation is stepping into the property market earlier than expected. According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), 65% of Gen Z members plan to purchase a property within the next five years.
In fact, their current homeownership rate between ages 19 and 26 already exceeds that of Millennials and Gen X at the same age, according to Redfin.
This shift has prompted developers to rethink what modern homes should offer. Today’s real estate isn’t just about space—it’s about delivering luxe amenities, innovative design, and features that support wellness-focused homes, creative living spaces, and sustainable lifestyles. These elements are now essential to meet the expectations of Gen Z.
