This popular Italian culinary center will be located in CityPlace, a vibrant space with shops and restaurants in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach.

The renowned Italian food hall, Eataly, is set to open its doors in West Palm Beach in the fall of 2025, shortly after announcing its first Florida location at Aventura Mall.

The location will occupy the historic Harriet Himmel building, a theater over 100 years old, located at 700 S. Rosemary Ave.

“We are thrilled to enter the South Florida market and look forward to bringing the Italian art of living to the West Palm Beach community at CityPlace,” said Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America. Brusò highlighted that CityPlace is a “true lifestyle destination with an impressive mix of retail, art, design, and cuisine,” making it the perfect space for the brand’s new flagship store.

Together with Related Ross, Eataly West Palm Beach will offer its traditional experiences to visitors: sit-down restaurants, quick-service counters, and a specialty market with imported Italian products, which have become synonymous with Eataly in each of its locations.

“The historic Harriet Himmel building is the ideal location for Eataly’s market and restaurant concept. This venue will honor the rich heritage of CityPlace’s community center while also creating a new, must-visit dining destination for residents and tourists,” commented Gopal Rajegowda, executive vice president of Related Ross.

The announcement of Eataly’s opening in Aventura, scheduled for spring 2025, surprised the public when it was revealed in the summer. This location will be the brand’s first in Florida.

Currently, Eataly operates in more than 50 locations across 15 countries, including Italy, the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Turkey, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia. The brand is continuing its ambitious global expansion plan, with new openings scheduled in major cities, including South Florida.

Eataly’s growth reflects the brand’s commitment to showcasing Italian culinary traditions worldwide, with a focus on authentic, high-quality ingredients and immersive experiences.

Founded in 2007 in Turin, Italy, Eataly has expanded to become a global phenomenon, bringing Italian food culture to major cities and creating a space where visitors can taste, shop, and learn.

Each location is carefully designed to reflect local character while staying true to Eataly’s Italian roots, offering diverse dining options and a market filled with unique, imported Italian products like olive oils, cheeses, cured meats, and wines.
